Capability Yellow
These fields are on the Castle Howard estate, which was famously landscaped by Capability Brown, the man who encouraged landowners to move whole villages just to improve their view.
But Lancelot (for that was his name) did not appear to have much of an eye for colour. Modern farmers, however, seem to revel in the opportunities for imposing visual form on the landscape through the use of colour. Which is, by and large, rather cheaper and less of an inconvenience for the residents.
