The Lusty Month of... January!

Our witch hazel has been in full bloom almost a week now, and today, with a mid-afternoon temperature of 60F/15C and sunshine after fog this morning, I saw the first insect pollinator on the tempting blossoms. 

There's nothing modest about a witch hazel!

And across eight time zones, a Blipsnap with flumgummery, who was visiting the witch hazels in Edinburgh's Royal Botanic Garden.
