Sunset and Pentlands

We went out on our bikes this afternoon, along the canal beyond the bypass. It was cool but pleasant riding; most of the ice on the canal had melted, and the birds were active,  There's a good population of Moorhens all along the canal, which is good to see. We came back via Edinburgh Park, and along the cycle path by the tram tracks. A good afternoon trip. The blip was taken west of the bypass and is looking south to Black Hill; the sky was really rather good as the sun set,
