Brilliant Color on a Foggy day

I was so surprised to see how bright the color on this hummingbird appeared in this photo. It is such a foggy dreary day here in Oregon. He sat on this branch for awhile and he let me get pretty close. Not normal behavior around here. He was checking out my Daphne to see if the blooms were open yet....no luck there so he sat here.

I had a pleasant meeting with the women in my book study group this afternoon at Starbucks. We had a lively discussion about the question, "What do you Want?" from the book, A Thousand Gifts.

Tonight we are eating leftovers....so an easy relaxed dinner without a lot of dishes.
