Sunday, January 25, 2015 -- Sunset

This is the final Sunday of January and the sunset gave an encore. The performance spanned 90 minutes and included a variety of shades from the color wheel.

The temperature was so warm in the house by 3:00 pm that we needed to get out for a while. So we took the dogs to the beach. While we were there, this very, very warm afternoon enjoyed a quick covering of cloud and rapid drop in temperature. A storm front was moving in. The cool-down was refreshing and delightful.

When we returned to the house we settled in for the best show of the day: the sunset.
