Up on the Roof

This is the kinda view a modern day 'Dick Van Dyke' from Mary Poppins would see.
To tell the truth though it is exactly the same view he would have had back then. 
Whilst London is constantly changing and modernising, parts of it haven't changed for a hundred years or more. Whilst a few of these roofs may have had repairs done over the years, they are basically the same mixture of Slated, Lead, Copper, Felt and Glazed roofs that are typical of a lot of the built up central London areas.
