Railway heritage

Callander used to have a railway station with a line running from Stirlig to Oban. It was called the Callander and Oban Railway and part is still open from Crianlarich to Oban. Our section closed in 1965 following landslides in Glen Ogle. This bridge is part of Callander's railway heritage, taking a road over the line near the station. It's now a listed building and was recently restored, although now it stands on a solid bank rather than its original piers.
