Shedding Winter

Work commitments meant I didn't progress the garden project last year as much as I wished.  So I have started to plan for the coming year.  Garden plans are good.  Implementation of these plans can be challenging.

It is also good to see trees planted when we moved in three years ago become established.  One of these is the Tibetan Cherry.  Hopefully it will be full of blossom in a few months time.  Meantime, it is shedding a winter skin of bark with fragments of the old stuff hanging on, flapping in the wind.  The new bark is shiny, fresh and a glorious dark red.

Much to look forward to.
