A dreich day

Had to go to Inveraray today for a committee meeting of the Glorious Gardens of Argyll & Bute, our local garden marketing group. We meet in the lovely old George Hotel and today I enjoyed a bowl of their fab chicken soup.

It was a miserable day and I was having difficulty finding anything to Blip, when I turned in at Claonairigh House beside the river at Bridge of Douglas. I have to confess that I'd never heard of the River Douglas in spite of travelling that road times than I care to remember over nearly 50 years!

I'd never noticed this row of tumbledown cottages beside the track and must find out a little more about them - it won't be hard, as I know absolutely nothing at the moment!
