Walking among ancient 'elephants ' in Epping .

Walking amongst these pollarded  oaks in Epping Forest felt  like walking among a herd of elephants , These ancient trees have been here for 100s of years .Perhaps they were here when Queen Elizabeth 1 visited the hunting lodge a few hundred yards away .
