Siddick Ponds

Today we went over to Siddick ponds, an interesting reserve to visit but it is difficult to get a photo to do it justice.
There is a massive expanse of reed beds of which a large area had a fire a couple of years ago but has recovered remarkably well.
The local council were down today with a team of volunteers getting the area tidied up and the grassy paths strimmed  ready for  visitors when the weather picks up.
