Fifty Shades

I'd like to paint over some large filled holes from where we took down a cupboard before we walked into it again.  The wall is painted not-quite-white.

Down in the far reaches of the basement the previous owners had left us a pile of paints (some of which rattled so I'm guessing they may have been here a while).

I now have a choice of barley white, apricot white, orchid white, ivory lace, magnolia, apple white, amazing white, buttermilk, evening mist, peach white, midwinter sky, light vanilla, summer fog, mist-with-a-hint-of-snow, pale haze, mystic smoke, iced bakewell,  ...  

OK so I may have made a few of those up.

Picked seven candidates; tried four of them.  Waiting now for daylight. Bet you it's none-of-the-above.
