Guard

Our York trip was only ever going to start at one place - the railway museum. It's a brilliant museum, brings out the train geek in everyone - who can resist the bullet train and the mallard. Beautiful machines from two different eras. Took up nearly the whole afternoon, with a brief trip into the town centre so Arlo could spend some christmas money.

Lovely evening meal, in an actual restaurant, where the kids behaved brilliantly allowing me and Tracey to pretend we were have a proper grown-up meal. Although Arlo did insist on busting some moves whenever he heard a tune he liked.

Had a little wander once the kids were tucked up in bed and heard a band blasting out a cover of this emo standard/guilty pleasure.
