A Cold Summer Day in the Heart of Patagonia

Contrast is at its peak during a cold summer day in the heart of Patagonia. Harsh, uninhabited shrubbery gives way to the smooth, deep lakes. The lakes are immediately dominated by the tall peaks, some of which climb so high they disappear into the clouds. Sunbeams flood through these clouds, casting intricate shadows on both the mountains and the valley at their feet. Still, the clouds are unable to block the intense blue sky, which gives warmth to the extreme landscape even on a brisk morning.
