Then and Now - Aldwych

At lunchtime I went over to Aldwych to take a modern day shot to match my Grandfather's photo. It's not from quite the same spot though. It looks like the actual viewpoint is now in the middle of the road coming off Waterloo Bridge!

Maybe I can go back and try again but I'm not sure when I can find a time where there won't be traffic on the road and there will be daylight. Four in the morning in the summer might work but then the Waldorf will be hidden by the trees!
