In The Occupied Territory

Imagination

Over 20 years ago we used to live in Aberdeen, in an area called Dyce, which is out by the airport. Our friend, Alma, lived in the next village outwith the city.
She came in one day to visit with her 2 children, Abby and Alex.
They then went up to catch the bus home from stop at the top of the road.
June went with them, and whilst they were waiting Alex, who was probably about 6 at the time, piped up, " Look at these stars."
His mum and June looked but could see nothing.
But he insisted that there were stars.
It was subsequently discovered that the stars he was seeing was the street lamps seem through his half, shut eyes.
He always had a vivid imagination.
He still does.
