Charlie

Well 2 days after loosing Nancy Rabbit it was clear the house was just not the same without a small furry bundle of love! I probably should have waited a little longer but truly Georgia was heart broken.
Charlie is a super friendly Guinea pig, he spent most of the evening cuddled up to one of us and eats from our hands.
He came with his name already, he was one Pets at Home rehome for a donation. I had gone in with the thought of considering a hamster but mum and I were smitten with Charlie straight away. I asked to meet him and he snuggled straight in and relaxed in my arms. 
Georgia was totally shocked when she came home from school to see him sat on me and could not believe her was all hers! As my mum said when she phoned later you could hear the smile in her voice when they talked. I am very glad we managed to put a smile back on her face and even gladder he is a gentle little soul.
Jake was equally shocked when I came home with him, he has long snuggles with him in his coat pocket! I have a feeling the adventures of this little piggy are going to be very amusing!
