Ditherington Flax Mill

Today I went to the open day at Ditherington Flax Mill. It's a building of great architectural and historical significance because it is thought to be the first iron-framed building in the world, and thus the forerunner of skyscrapers. It's only open to the public on a couple of weekends a year and somehow I've never managed to get along to one before.
