Australian Grand Designs.

The Australian designed Stonehenge Visitor Centre has now been opened for 12 months. Just over a million visitors have been through it. Cost £27m. The Aussies did owe us one, we designed their Sydney Harbour bridge,1930`s, with Messrs Long, Plunkett, Freeman and Tait from the UK.
The Guardian`s Rowan Moore described the Visitor Centre as "suffering from nerviness" and "should have had the courage to be simpler".  The locals hate the thing because of the traffic congestion.
