Common Checkered Skipper

As I was watering my herb garden, several skippers were flitting about, so I grabbed the camera and caught them on different flowers. I love the chive, and I love the blue body of this butterfly.

Yesterday was our Women's Conference. It was a huge success; we had around 175 women; an original choir number, an original play, delicious food and wonderful classes! I'm so glad it's over!
