Escape from the da Vinci room

This evening after work Mr hazelh, our friends Tom and Sandra, and I were locked up in a room packed with codes and clues. We had one hour to solve a set of challenging puzzles, break into all of the locked doors and boxes, steal the Holy Grail, and escape. Happily we were successful, and I live to tell the tale.

It really was lots and lots of fun. I think that Mr hazelh enjoyed it the most: as a recreational code breaker he really was in his element. As might be expected, I mainly helped out with the word puzzles.

Exercise today: another night of poor sleep and looming work deadlines meant that instead of running at 6:00am I was at my desk at that time. I did, however, walk to work and back (2 hours).
