Compare and contrast

The sun umbrellas at cafe View Point and the roof of the Uma-Maheshwar Temple, at the highest point of Kirtipur, 1,424 metres. The cafe has a stupendous view over the city of Kathmandu and the snows of the Himalayas. Smog sits over the centre of the city, but the view should be clearer later on. Yesterday the mountains were painted rose-pink by the light of the setting sun.

Today I had planned to have boiled eggs and toast at this cafe. No toast, they said, would you like a sandwich? Make of that what you will!
