I'm amazed how well the roses are standing up to this intense heat. I'm wilting but the roses are holding their heads up proudly - bless them. Anti clockwise from top left, they are:-

4. Birthday Present

A lovely surprise visit from blipper JMK & her husband, from Christchurch, this morning. A surprise because I was expecting them tomorrow & they came a day early ! We had a good old pow wow. This evening a dear friend had a very pleasant drinks session & as I was leaving to come home, a complete stranger, told me how much she enjoys following my blips. Wasn't that nice of her ? I could have hugged her ! Perhaps I should have.
