Dala Horse

In the week before Mr Fox was born, while I was waiting for him to arrive, I set myself the challenge of embroidering a dala horse sampler from the special Christmas issue of Mollie Makes. It took my only two days to stitch about 80% of it, then Mr Fox made a very prompt arrival, and it took me almost nine weeks to do the rest. But today I finally finished it! Of course, Christmas is now over, but I think the horse would look nice all year round.
