Istanbul

This is sunset in Istanbul taken from a ferry crossing the Bosphorus. This amazing city spans two continents. This crossing was taking us from Europe to Asia.



It's probably my most favourite photo that I've taken and it was the day when I discovered the sunset setting on my compact camera. We have happy memories of our only trip to Turkey visiting friends who are working there.
This is a back blip as yesterday's late night blip (Jan 2015) was very boring.
