Two minds on permanent part-time
My work station. Today i start work on a permanent, part-time basis, after 6.5 years at home with off-spring (and only doing relief shifts). On one hand I feel good about my permanent step back into the work force. Great to be building super, skills, and independence. I do also feel slightly nervous that I will have to be all things to all people. Can I still make cup cakes, organize the 'best birthday parties ever', be on the fete committee, pack lunches, do homework, arrange play dates, shop, cook, clean, make time to exercise, see my own friends, enjoy the garden, take puppy to the vet, spend time with my brothers/father, study, keep up with training, work and have fun???? Can I do it?
Hopefully hubby is going to start picking up half the chores at home so I don't have to be Super-mum. Fingers crossed the grind doesn't take me down.
