Calm After the Storm
I was just about to nip down the road to visit a neighbour when a wild gale blew up, hurling horizontal rain and hail at the house...and myself for that matter, as I stepped out in it. I broke all the usual rules and drove the car the two hundred yards to the house up the road...As quickly as it came, it was gone and fluffy clouds and blue sky adorn the firmament, to coin a literary cliche.
Anyway this is by way of a bit of an EB as I am out for much of the afternoon and evening.
This is a quick snap of the local hedgerows which have just survived yesterday's agricultural shearing. I keep reminding myself it'll look good in a few weeks once they recover from the shock!
