Storm approaching Rippingale
An infrared image I took this morning (along with some colour images) of a storm that hit us about 5 minutes later. There was a faint rainbow on the right side of the image which you can just see as a whitish arc. I don't know what colour that is that the IR filter has picked up, but I suspect it is the red bit.
That cloud actually contained a 4-minute hailstorm and very strong winds!
I have had an email from Andy at BlipCentral saying that they have been putting all their development effort into the iphone app, and now that is ready they are going to start on some of the other issues, eg the size of images displayed in the standard and large versions. Thank goodness for that.
