Hydrangea

I've seen some inspiring images of hydrangeas on these pages recently. I had been leaving the dead flower heads on mine through the winter, to give a little frost protection to the new growth - but when I saw that one of the old stems of Hydrangea macrophylla 'Zambia' had bent double I happily snapped off the flower head and brought it into the conservatory to photograph it.
