Grandmother's Ring

Every ring tells a story, and not always a happy one.  My mother inherited this ring from her mother in law - the story is that my grandfather was owed some money and the man who owed it paid the debt off with the ring.  Wonder what the rest of the story was. 

Start the journey back tomorrow and get home Friday, ferries permitting.
