Wacky Races

The annual Monte Carlo rally starts tonight and the 100+ participant vintage cars are gathered outside Paisley Cathedral waiting for the chequered flag. The presence if a Hillman Imp is a poignant reminder of this area's role in car manufacture. Nearby Linwood produced the Imp. This was taken just before the snow started at 5.30. A little concerned that most of these 'vintage' cars were on the road when I was growing up
