Spring Flowers

We didn't have the forecast snow today but the drizzle could certainly be described as 'wintry'. It was also bitterly cold so I decided to work in the greenhouse. After mixing up a large trugful of compost with grit, I potted up some white tree lilies. (As opposed to'potting on'). These were a present from my daughter and came by post. When I'd finished planting (ten in total), there were lots of little scale buds left in the pack. Another job for tomorrow. Why does one job always lead to another in the garden?
The blip today is a pulmonaria or lungwort which is sheltering in the greenhouse. The one in the garden is looking pretty trashed at the moment and I bought this one to bulk up the clump. It has very little in the way of foliage but the piercing blue of these tiny, barely one centimetre flowers, warmed my heart (if not my hands, which were a much less attractive shade of blue). :(
