Elementing the battlements

Fearless was I as I set forth into the arctic conditions, the savagery of the blizzards, the relentless icy cold winds that tried to ingratiate themselves into every bodily crevice that lay unwrapped. Oh, what bravery was in my legs that carried me forth on my missions.

Alas, the forecast didn't hold altogether true and only little intermittent episodes abounded amidst the bouts of sunshine.

I must say that I did don my double-tube merino woolen scarf that I configured as a hat-cum-scarf and I am so glad that I didn't remove it in any public place, for when I did arrive home and rid myself of this titfer the state of my hair was perfectly unruly and most unsuitable for displaying to any audience.

I ask yet again, where oh where can I take charge of a thumbnail????
