For a Walk in the Park

There was a bitter wind here today and in consequence not many people out walking here.

There was a newspaper article about a fortnight ago about how to go about getting exercise without the expense of going to a gym... One suggestion was to use this type of exercise machine.

I am reminded  of a story about my late uncle.  He was an industrialist in
Bradford, Yorkshire.   In the 1950's he took his children up to a high place overlooking the City.  There they admired the light from the new fangled electric street lights.  Amid the ooohs and aaahs he was heard to remark  to his children "and never forget who is paying for it"!
