In the Forest

I had a walk in the gardens of Drum Castle. I notice there seems to be quite a lot of work going on at the castle itself. No sign of anything going on outside, but several trucks in the courtyard of the castle.

Near the castle I came across this are tree trunk. It must have had some significance since I see there has been a small notice next to it, but time has taken its toll and the notice is no longer legible.

The building in the background is the tower of Drum Castle.

There is a blue sky when I took this picture, though the wind was bitingly cold. About half an hour late we had a blizzard, bit it only lasted them minutes or so, and the snow did not settle.
