Birthday Boy

Dad's birthday today so we had dinner in the Dog and Duck. A lovely evening. I think dad enjoyed his day. He's had lots of cards and presents and lots of hugs and kisses at work today by all accounts.
I was at work all day and poppy forgot who was picking her up and started to walk home causing a whole heap of trauma, not least for my mother who had half the village out looking for her. Luckily, a good Samaritan came to the rescue and all's well that ends well.
