Mont Blanc at sunset
We climbed the snowy field at the side of our apartment where others had walked on raquettes. It was easy to follow their path and the raquettes had made the snow firm to walk on. Mollie enjoyed the fluffy snow as we climbed the steep path through a wood by the side of a ravine. Eventually we came to an opening where the path leveled off and I took some photos of the stunning view. We reached the Mont Chery ski de fond path which we walked along for a while until we dropped down into a field of deep snow which led to the top of our road. It was dark when we got home but the moon was bright.
