City Living
Some people dream of lavish vacations, large homes and fancy clothes. I dream about having a dedicated parking spot. (Or maybe living somewhere warm?) In Boston, most of us just fight it out for first-come, first-served resident parking spots. On your average day parking is a challenge but when there is a "snow emergency" it becomes a nightmare. The main roads are subject to a parking ban and we all fight for a spot on one of the remaining side streets. The joy of finding one of these coveted snow day approved parking spots is short lived, however, as you then have to dig your car out after the plows bury it. That little red car is mine and the giant pile of snow is what was covering it after the blizzard.
