Selfie....Kind Of

Feeling so much better today. Must have been a 24 hour thing. Thank goodness it's gone now. I had quite a busy day catching up with things which shoukd have been done yesterday plus what had to be done today.

Had a swimming gala to go to this morning. It was primary schools gala. Three schools were competing today to go into the reginal final. I was starter. Boys and girls doing their leadership awards from Great Baddow were also on hand to help. Lovely children. One deaf lad who I used to teach was helping too which was nice. One school walked away with it. It really shows how important swimming is and how little swimming kids get these days. I used to teach one of the schools....Baddow Hall....they had an outdoor pool. It was such a shame when they decided to fill it in. A roof over the top and more use out of out would have been better....but it all comes down to money in the end.

After the gala it was hair and nail time. I love my hair being done. It's my me time when I read trash and drink coffee.

Then it was picking dry cleaning up, getting dog food, getting sons food, getting logs for the wood burner, getting petrol, changing the beds, more washing, more ironing then at last start packing.

I cannot believe I'm off on my travels tomorrow.
