Patience

I had been taking some photos of my favorite trees and wasn't getting what I'd hoped for this evening.  As I hung my camera at arm's length for the muddy trek back to the car, a light switch seemed to go off and the red sky appeared.  I pretty much stood in awe for the next 15 minutes.  It was a great treat for the end of a busy day.  I'm thankful to be reminded about the value of patience, especially when the lesson comes in the form of a brilliant red sky hovering near my trees.
