Flynns First Funeral.......

Jaiyas cat Mia caught a blue tongue lizard today....a very sad state of affairs. She brought it in as a present (as cats do).
I moved it out to the garden....to kill it probably would of been the humane thing to do but I just couldn't.
It did die a little later and when Flynn came home from day care we went down the beach with the lizard in a brown paper bag (which Flynn insisted on carrying) some smudge...crystals and flowers to give it an honouring and hero's send off.
That little man was very present and made sure the lizard was tucked in tightly so nothing would dig it up and buried one of his magic crystal with him. I thought it was important that he experience death in little stages....another thing for a little man to wrap his head around.
