SUCCESS!

Mr HCB did ask before he brought all his pots, potting compost, seeds and other paraphernalia into the conservatory - well, it is quite cold to be standing in a greenhouse and planting seeds!  I did remind him to be very careful with the table, as our granddaughter wants it when she moves into a flat later in the year, so he bought a very large tarpaulin to cover it.

One other thing I mentioned, in passing, was that if he expected me to accept the conservatory being taken over for sometime, then he would have to consent to be in one of my blips.  He did agree, but not without grumbling - well he has been practising to be a “grumpy old man” or so he tells me!

So here is Mr. HCB with a vast array of seeds, and looking very proud because some of his lettuce seeds have come up.  He did mention something about “model charging rates” but I just reminded him that the greenhouse will still be very cold!

Of course, seeds like this aren’t the only ones we have planted - we hope we have planted the seeds of love, honesty, integrity, happiness and positivity in our children, grandchildren, friends and those we meet day by day.  In fact, we are all planting seeds every day of our lives - we water them, watch over them with hope, nurture them, will them to grow and eventually harvest them - what a wonderful way to live and reproduce all the good things in life.  Have you planted any seeds today?

“Know who you are,
then you can know where you can be!
Choose your environment wisely;
but be sure you know your dreams at first!
When your dream seeds fall onto the soil
with the best environmental factor,
you will have a bumper harvest!”

P.S.  The reason Mr. HCB has a hat on is not because the conservatory isn’t warm enough, but because he had been out in the garden to prop up another fence that's been damaged in yesterday’s high winds.
