Another Sunrise

A bright, sunny day.

This sunrise was from my Hospital single room on the 5th floor of Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Fortunately, the windows faced east and over the City to the North Sea. It has been stunning all day.

Unfortunately, I suffered a lot of pain overnight but with painkillers it has gradually reduced. The Consultant Cardiologist was very pleased with my progress, considering how difficult the procedure had been. Apparently, it had been touch and go whether he would have been able to successfully implant the pacemaker or not.

The biggest problem has been waiting for the Pharmacy to deliver the medication. Five hours and still waiting. Still, I am fairly sure we will get home tonight!
