Lalique Owl

Day 24 of the Owl serial..
This Is a very special miniature glass Owl, made by Lalique.
René Jules Lalique (6 April 1860, Ay, Marne – 5 May 1945, Paris) was a French glass designer known for his creations of glass art, perfume bottles, vases, jewellery, chandeliers, clocks and automobile hood ornaments.
Lalique started a glassware firm, named after him, which still remains in production and successful.
This owl, mounted centrally on a circular glass dish, and un-dated, is quite tiny. and proved difficult to photograph satisfactorily, especially as the flash on my camera has started to malfunction!!
I did my best, and hope I have done justice to this rather valuable and beautiful object.
