Too cold for a landscape!

So where is the snow? I was expecting to wake up to sleet but it was beautifully sunny and bright, but as soon as I took Murdoch out for his walk I realised how cold it was. I met a friend for a quick cup of coffee in the village and I had planned to go out after lunch to get some landscape shots, but it was just too cold...so another image of flowers will have to do!

These flowers were given to me yesterday when the friends came around for coffee - they were all so generous and I got lovely flowers, chocolates and shortbread, and all I di was serve coffee and cake. I have very kind friends!

The sky is now looking very ominous, and we could have some snow showers after all.
