Bald Eagle's Nest. #Merica

Yesterday we went for a hike at Cedar point Environmental Park in Englewood, FL. As we went down the "jeep" trail we came across a sign that indicated to keep quiet to not disturb the nesting eagles.....WHATTT? As we looked around we spotted it in the foliage free canopy of an old dead Slash Pine Tree. At first, we only saw a young baby frolicking about in the extremely large nest, but after a few minutes Mama returned, large as can be, with a fresh kill. One of the coolest things I've witnessed with my own eyes.
