Embsay Moor
Liz and I held our breath hoping that there would be enough snow to enjoy a wintry walk but not enough to get snowbound.
Apart from needing to use snow socks to get into the car park, we were in luck, enjoying a great stomp across Crookrise Edge and a circuit back to Embsay reservoir. We discovered Bella has a penchant for sheep but all the dogs were, on the whole, on good behaviour.
It was gorgeous up there with not a soul around and we even had some sunshine on the way back down. As we pulled up home, the gritters were out and we were being followed by a huge snowstorm. Liz made it home in the nick of time!
I do like my huts :-)
