Snow afternoon

It has snowed quite a lot on and off today.

This morning was a little frantic with attempted (but failed) nursery drop off, kids to school, parents to hospital for an appointment then back home to receive a message saying school was closing. Luckily it is a only 5 minute walk so then followed an unscheduled afternoon of DVD and baking. There went my rare indulgent brunch meeting with a couple of school mummy's  - we're going to try again next week!
