Silent Communion

Had the most amazing silent communion this morning. No word but so so powerful. A loaf of bread wrapped in a sheet like a baby and a grown up loaf (depicted by the sheet now standing) being stabbed with a real knife. It was horrific. There were tears all over the place. But it was brutal. It was horrible. It was much much worse. 

Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed- Isaiah 53:4-5
