Annular solar eclipse in Tokyo

25 years since the last one seen in Japan.
About 100 years since the last on was seen in Tokyo.
About 1000 years since it has been widely seen around the entire country (Wow that's a long time ago).

Woke up early enough to capture this shot at 7:30 am.
Thanks to the clouds slightly covering the sun, it was visible even without wearing special glasses.

Was worth it.
The sky became slightly dark making the sight a bit mysterious.


Well, unfortunately I do not feel well today. Soon as showed up at work, I high fever started to kill me. So went back home early.
I guess my body is saying "no" to go to work on a Monday. lol
